Sarah Merz, former Partner of Kannon Consulting and current President of FranklinCovey's Consumer Solutions Business Unit, was recently named Chief Executive Officer of Franklin Covey Products, LLC and will serve on its board of managers.
In May 2008, FranklinCovey announced that it had entered into an agreement with Peterson Partners to create a new company, Franklin Covey Products, LLC. This new company will purchase substantially all of the assets of FranklinCovey's Consumer Solutions Business Unit (CSBU) and expand CSBU's planner and other branded consumer products worldwide.

Sarah began her career at Kannon Consulting in 1994 and was named a Partner in April 1996. She led Kannon's Marketing Strategy Practice and established a strong track record of helping clients develop customer-driven marketing strategies.

Former Kannon senior consultant Suzanna Frank has recently been elevated from director of research for the media company Lee Enterprises, Incorporated to the new position of Vice President -- Audience.
"Suzanna has been an excellent director of research and marketing for Lee," Mary Junck, Lee's chairman and chief executive officer, said. "She's moved us dramatically forward in measuring and understanding our many audiences and has provided outstanding marketing know-how to our sales teams. Suzanna is uniquely qualified for this new, key role that will focus on driving the continued growth of our audiences."
Suzanna began her career at Kannon Consulting in 1996. She left the firm two years later to pursue a degree in business administration and marketing from DePaul University in Chicago, and returned to Kannon as a senior consultant in marketing strategy from 2000 to 2001.
Before joining Lee in 2003, Suzanna was market research manager for the San Diego Union-Tribune. Suzanna and her husband, Jason, have two young sons.
